I have a pet theory that the Fox network showed the American Dad pilot to a room full of
grinning mannequins. That's the only way I can see it getting past whatever quality control exists
over there. I watched the entire thing after the Super Bowl, and this qualifies me to say that
this show is going to be almost unbearably atrocious. You probably have a friend who's saying that
right now, but he didn't sit through the whole thing. Slap him the next time you see him. I
