BAGEL TRICKERY

This morning at work, like all Fridays, came with bagels. I grabbed what I thought was a plain bagel, toasted it, and spread on a thin layer of plain cream cheese.

The bagel was spicy.

Further bites and subsequent visual inspection revealed what I think were chunks of jalapeno, concealed within the dough and by some freakish chance not revealed by the initial bisecting of the bagel. The jalapeno bagel.

Have you ever heard of such a thing.
